Murry’s views on the role of a City Councillor are that Councillors need to:
- Be well informed
- Do their homework
- Seize every opportunity to learn
- Be a team-player but be prepared to present differing perspectives and opinions
- Learn about best practices from other cities and cross Canada and indeed from around the world.
- Work with community organizations and individuals to find solutions to our challenges
- Work tirelessly for the residents of Prince George
